Why was wedding videography a priority for you?

So we have moving candid footage of a special important day with all our loved ones to have for years and years to come to look back on and enjoy. The day will go by in a blink and we will have it to look back on.

Why did you choose me?

I’ve swooned over your video work for ages and I just thought it would be really special to have someone I trusted the connection to the North is special. Your passion for the weddings and your authenticity just make it feel like such a great match.

How do you spend your days when you are not at work? What's important in life?

We spend time with our friends and family we love to adventure especially around our big island / island hop. Adventure with our dogs are sweet boys!

We enjoy spending time together and with our people and animals. We have aspirations to get out into the world of travel again

The proposal... tell us ALL the details!

It was a competition in a way! Jenne wanted to go first and so did I so we sorta jokingly fought over it. I always thought if I ever got married which I never pictured I would be proposed to I had dated more men in the past traditionally that’s how it goes. Jenne is a hopeless romantic and always assumed she would be the one proposing first. I love that about her but as we found out quite quickly, there is no rule book.

I just really wanted her to have the feeling of receiving it. So I had a mug custom made with mountains and northern lights. Our astrological signs in the stars. It was a casual Monday night and hot chocolate and the mug had “JENNE will you marry me” written at the bottom.

Fast forward summer 2021 10 ish months later - Jenne and I were on salt spring island for a little get away we had a amazing day beach dinner and hot tub back at our B&B I had a shower and came and sat on the couch and we were lounging she started singing to me a song she re wrote of one we love together. Then at the end she proposed and I was sooo surprised! ❤️

What experience did you want to give your guests?

We want everyone to feel excited and look forward to something special after a few years of little to look forward too we want to see people laugh and cry and be happy dance celebrate dress up! All the happiness.
