As a Golden, BC wedding photographer and videographer, I've had the pleasure of capturing countless beautiful moments in these mountains, but there are some weddings that stand out as truly unforgettable. Jordan and Michael's wedding at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, BC, is one of those magical days that I'll cherish forever.

A Moody Mountain Affair

Picture this: the end of September, a moody day in the mountains. The air is crisp, the sky is painted with hues of gray and blue, and love is in the air. Jordan and Michael chose the stunning Kicking Horse Mountain Resort as the backdrop for their special day, surrounded by the majestic peaks of 3 major mountain ranges. The Canadian Rockies, The Selkirks and the Purcell Mountain ranges.

Love, Laughter, and Family

For Jordan and Michael, their wedding was all about creating an atmosphere where everyone could let loose and have a blast. When asked to describe their wedding vibe in three words, they simply said, "We just want everybody to have a good time." And let me tell you, they absolutely nailed it.

The couple was joined by their son and their nearest and dearest friends and family, creating an intimate and joyful celebration. One of the most touching moments of the day was Jordan's first look with her best friends and her father, capturing raw emotion and pure love before she walked down the aisle to meet Michael.

Saying "I Do" with a View

The ceremony itself was nothing short of breathtaking. Jordan and Michael saw each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle, framed by the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountain ridgelines. With a scenic gondola ride bringing guests to the top of the world, the terrace at Kicking Horse Resort provided the perfect setting for their vows.

After the "I dos" were said and sealed with a kiss, it was time to party! The reception was a lively affair, filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and of course, plenty of dancing. As the sun set behind the mountains, the celebration continued well into the night, with Jordan and Michael surrounded by love and laughter.
