Celebrating Love & Culture: A Sikh Wedding at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort

Maiyan, Dinner, and Jaggo: A Vibrant Prelude

The festivities kicked off on Saturday with the Maiyan, Dinner, and Jaggo at the Travelodge in Golden, BC. The summer night was filled with excitement as guests gathered to partake in the colourful traditions of Sikh culture. From the vibrant choora ceremony to the joyous batna ritual, every moment was steeped in tradition and love.

And let's not forget about the delicious food that tantalized our taste buds, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. As the night progressed, the energy soared with an incredibly fun Jaggo, where everyone danced the night away, celebrating the next day’s union.

An Unforgettable Sikh Ceremony

The next day, the anticipation reached new heights as guests embarked on a breathtaking gondola ride to the summit of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort for the morning Sikh ceremony. Against the backdrop of majestic peaks and sprawling vistas, Aman and Taylor exchanged vows, uniting two cultures in a beautiful celebration of love. The awe-inspiring setting perfectly captured the essence of their union, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Following the ceremony, the festivities continued at the Golden Civic Centre, where family and friends gathered for a joyous reception. The venue buzzed with laughter, music, and dancing as guests celebrated the newlyweds with heartfelt toasts and loving embraces.
